depends if the wire is stripped (meaning no insulation) or just isn't connected. if you were willing enough to open up the cart you could definitely replace the wire easily if it was in a easy to reach area.
all you should need is wire cutters, an appropriate size wire (take the bad wire to a store that sells electric wire to get the right gauge), electrical tape, connectors, and maybe shrink tubing to cover up connections.
it'll probably take $20-$25 to fix. you can probably find instructions online somewhere. so if you feel that you're confident enough to do fix it then it seems like a worthy investment
