Ladies: Is there anything sexier than a man in a Speedo with a lush covering of body hair?
Don't take ladies' opinions too seriously. American women are incredibly prude when it comes to Speedos, let alone Speedos and body hair. In the land of freedom, there is a dictatorship against body expression!
Yet, Speedos have become gradually larger over the years, while more people wear team regardless of age and physique. In any case, you may find that excessive body hair, micro-thongs and overweight bodies are seen as an oddity in any beach of the planet.
As all in fashion, it depends on common sense and personal expression. If you have the right "attitude", you can wear anything and be unshaven. But it also depends on the type of beach crowd you will be mingling with... So, care less about this beauty spa dictatorship. Be yourself - that's what most smart ladies would care about...

Why is the Speedo logo covered on the Olympic swimsuits of the Chinese?
China had a swimsuit contract with another company for their national team and made the decision at the last moment to allow their swimmers to wear the LZR for the Olympics like many federations did. It's probably the compromise they made to be able to do it and not void the contract with their national team supplier.

Yes, yes a million times yes! I'm so happy I cam across this post/blog, because this is basically the commentary running through my mind when I pick up a new title. I like comics, I've got plenty of money – I basically need a reason NOT to buy a Marvel title. And they frequently give me plenty. Extreme T&A and a lack of female writers and pencillers is basically saying 'Hey, thanks, but this is not for you!' I tried to explain it to my boyfriend by asking how he'd feel if every comic he checked out had a throbbing boner in a Speedo on the cover. Would he feel his taste was being targeted, or even respected? How many would he skim through before giving up?
