92 Blazer with 279,000 miles?
I'm considering purchasing this vehicle for my bf. I know it isn't ideal, but he's a college student and financially this is our best option. I'm wondering if it's worth $1500, and what major problems I can expect? Here's the rest of the description--
Description: Oil changes every 3,000, changed 120 m. ago, lifetime front and back brakes (changed on 4/09/07), new clutch master, slave 8/06. New wires, plugs, cap, and button 2005. Also new water pump, belts, blower motor and fan, '05. New radiator and hoses '06. Cold A.C, all wheel A.B.S, ps, pb, new all terrain tires10/06. Great daily driver, especially off-road and long trips. I do have the spare tire holder for back. Other pictures available through e mail, or come back, I will change them. Make me an offer. Truck is still very dependable and strong.
Not worth $1500, ask if he will take $1000 if not walk away from it. It would be ok for $1000 and if any major thing happened you would have $500 left to take care of.
Not seeing the vehicle or knowing anything else I couldn't say what else to expect.............. sounds like he has taken care of it and resent plugs and wires changed (tune-ups), done.

1992 Ford Ranger spare tire bolt?
What size bolt secures the spare tire holder on a 1992 Ford Ranger? Mine went missing and its rattling now.

I would go out to the junkyard and get one from there they should only charge you a few dollars are give it to you. Thats what I do at my junkyard.
