How do you know if a septic lift pump is working?
No backups yet, but I noticed that the gfi was tripped at the lift pump to the septic tank. I pushed in the gfi to reset it and the high water alarm came on. I removed the plug to the alarm and checked on it 10 mins. later. The alarm does not alarm now when I plug it back in. So I am assuming that the gfi tripped, the water built up, I reset the gfi giving power to the pump and it did it's job. Is there a way to tell if the pump is OK without calling the septic company?
its a messy job but turn off power pull pump up wash and check impellers it probably has a rag or something in it remove it and put pump back in
