Just bought a used EZ-Go Golf cart having problems? Help!?

Hi i just bought a used golf cart as is---its all electric and in great shape except it refuses sometimes to go into forward or reverse. I bought it real cheap and the guy i bought it from said he thought it was the micro-switches or the solid state controller? any ideas?------Thanx! for your help!

Trade it in for a Rhino! (LOL. . . just Kidding!) sounds like you got a short on maybe one of the wires that go into the shift box. Check the wires that go from there to the electric motor. Make sure that it's unplugged so that you don't eletricute yourself.

Electric Golf Carts?

Im looking for an electric 4-seat golf cart type thing. It wouldnt actually be used for golfing, just for getting around town. Any reccomendations? Im looking for something well priced.
thanks Dave P.

I don't have one but I know when one of my friends in Florida was researching it he came across the link below.

  • A 23 mile range in cold weather, eh?  Gee, what remarkable progress from the electric golf carts of the 1970s. Wanna save the planet in a 2011 Chevy?   Buy a dino-powered Cruze, and then tell six billion of your closest friends to do the same thing.

A crane is a lifting machine, generally equipped with a winder (also called a wire rope drum), wire ropes or chains and sheaves, that can be used both to lift and lower materials and to move them horizontally. It uses one or more simple machines to create mechanical advantage and thus move loads beyond the normal capability of a human. Cranes are commonly employed in the transport industry for the loading and unloading of freight, in the construction industry for the movement of materials and in the manufacturing industry for the assembling of heavy equipment.
