Electric Golf Cart Battery Charger
Electric Golf Cart Battery Charger
we have a problem with an electric golf cart.?
My father-in-law bought a used electric golf kart all of the batteries have been replaced, it will charge for about an hour and then will shut itself off, We took the charger off try to drive it and it had no power.so we put the charger back on and it shut off after an hour again. But it still wont go. can you please help. the cart is made by ez go electon
When Charging your batteries be sure to turn your ignition off, pull the key out just to be sure. There is no way on this earth your batteries will be charged in one hour, even a quick charge wont do it.
Does the charger itself shut down?... I would be making sure all wires are correctly wired, make sure all connections in plug are working.
Also just make sure the charger isn't drawing excess current from your power source, if this happens you 'safety switch' will shut off, therefore no power.
If all else fails get a electrician to check the charger out
