How exactly do I remove or disable the speed limiter on an Electric Golf Cart?
I've recieved a couple good answers as to how to make an ordinary electric golf cart go faster. A couple people have mentioned removing or disabling the limiter/regulator. Where is it exactly on a golf cart and how specifically do I disable or remove it?

should we get a gas or electric golf cart ??
were purchasing a golf cart to take with us camping, and are looking at both a gas model, and a 48 volt electric, which is better ?? thanks
Definetly get electric.

Gas carts are loud at night and will annoy anyone else camping in your area.

Electric batteries are so convenient to charge. No carrying a gas can to the store to fill up. Just plug it in to the battery charger.... wa-la!

When you are on a recon mission... Charlie won't hear you coming... and you can sneak up behind em in the bush and take em out.
Reason 5
Electric motors are easier to care for. No mixing oil and gas, or changing oil out of a motor.
At our campground... we have a no gas cart rule now. They are just annoying at night time making all that racket. And nothing is more fun than drinking and driving a golf cart on a warm summer night around the campground. Just gotta be quiet.........
