How do I remove the engine cover from a 1986-87 Ford Econoline I50 Conversion Van? Help!?
I unhooked the latches on each side, remove the wood tray on top by taking out 2 back screws and 2 screws from the ash tray. And now I'm stuck. I have yanked and pulled and cussed this thing and nothing works. I've had my hands all in and around it and I can't find another latch. My grandpa was the original owner and it only has 80,000 original miles on it but I do remember seeing his mechanic remove it once. Just can't remember how! Ford Gurus, help me please!
there might be some bolts at the bottom, under the carpet...
