In fact I've seen kids fall out of those because they can't be strapped in. Anyway, I read on another site that Marcia's husband was there with her with another cart for the groceries. I'm sure those girls were perfectly safe. I left my boys at home when they were young and did the shopping alone. It was a nice relaxing time for mom.
