Control Arm Bushings
My mechanic says my car needs new control arm bushings. What does that mean?
For my '05 chevy cobalt. They are unsure if my extended warranty will cover it. What are control arm bushings, and is it necessary to get new ones?

If you suspension is messed up- chances are it does require new control arm bushings- if you look under you car on the rear since its a little clearer from there- you would be able to see the arms that hold the wheels and suspension tied in. They are called the control arm bushings- it does not replace the rods but the bushings that go inside it to ensure that your suspension has the right bounce in it.
