Cart Seat cover What is the best shopping cart cover that's easy to install and comfy?
My daughter is 6 1/2 months old. I'm tired of lugging around the car seat because she's too big for it and heavy! I want her to start sitting in a shopping cart, but I'm afraid she'll fall over. She can sit with support.
Any suggestions?
i would get a cart cover. i think any cover will do. get something soft. I had the same issue and didn't get one for my first son. wished i had. i will do it with my second son though. he is only 3 months and not ready for one but as soon as he is i will get a cover. use the belt on the cart and she should not fall over. just dont look away from her. she is still a little wobbly right?
The basic shopping cart cover can be as expensive as $100 but usually run in the range of about $30. Many places online offer you the choice of having your shopping cart cover special order or custom made if you have a particular size or unique shape you need to cover. Special designs are also available to match any theme or personal preference you have. You can have fun picking out the perfect one for you.

The shopping cart cover will definitely help to protect your child from germs and bacteria on the handle of the cart. It will also prevent you from coming in contact with the same. This with proper hand washing techniques on your part will help stop the spread of viruses to you and your children. Teach your baby early how important this step is. You can also take antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer with you to help keep things clean. The shopping cart cover you purchase needs to also have a safety belt to prevent the child from falling out of the cart or tipping it over and causing injuries.

Shopping cart cover designs are very versatile and can be fitted with toys, pockets for storage such as cell phones and baby food and bottles. There may be a loop that you can attach the pacifier or a ring of keys to. The higher end shopping cart cover can be used as a mat or diaper bag when folded. They can also work in high chairs, swings, and strollers if necessary. They more you are willing to pay for your shopping cart cover, the more choices there are available to you. Some special models come with an extra pillow and extra large padding for added comfort.
Fabric Designs And Choices
The extreme list of designs can range anywhere from solid colors to a plaid or floral pattern. Certainly they can also provide patterns that match sports themes, animal themes, and other personal choices. The fabric you choose should be easily washed in a machine and easily wiped clean on the spot if necessary. The leg flaps also need to be longer so they do not pinch baby's legs. You want baby to be comfortable so they will behave while you shop and also protected from the germs and bacteria the carts hold.
Safety Belts
As was said earlier, the important part of the shopping cart cover is the safety belt it provides. The attachment can be in many different forms but the main idea is to have it hold securely. Children, at a certain age will inevitably try to stand up in the seat of the shopping cart. The shopping cart cover will hold them in securely while still allowing them to move around somewhat. No parent wants their child to be injured as a result of not taking the proper precautions to prevent such things from happening.
