John Deere Hydro 175 Spindle Removal?
My front axle spindle will not move, I was wondering how to get it out? I removed the clip on the top, now is it just a matter of hitting the top to get it out? Thanks
If you have the owners manuel you might take a look in it to see how to get it out. If you don't have the owners manuel you might check around your local area and find who sells JD items and ask them if they have a manuel or where you could get one. While there ask them how to do what you need done. Without actually seeing it, it is hard to say for sure.

PT Cruiser front bearings...?
Both of the front bearings need replacing on my PT cruiser. I have the replacement parts already, the fronts just being large bearings and the rears being entire replacement hub assemblies. (I'm doing the rears just for the heck of it.) Do I need to remove the whole steering knuckle (or spindle) in front to press out the bearings, or can I remove them by removing the drive axles from the back and tapping the bearings out? I'd prefer to save some money and not have someone else do it for me. Any advice'd be greatly appreciated.
... I might mention that I did make a slide hammer that bolted right to the lugs (bolt pattern turned out to be 5 on 100 mm), and although I battled with it for awhile, that hub wasn't budging! It just seems to me that since the bearings for the front came alone, while the rears came as whole hub assemblies, that I might not have no remove the whole hub assemblies in front.
Again, thanks for your input here.
Sounds like It..you might have to pull the knuckle and take it to a shop that has a press.. Im pretty sure they wont just fall out..Or just take the whole car to the shop and let them fight with it..How much is your time worth?
